Standard Formation
The Standard Raid Formation is the original raid configuration. This is the formation that will be used until you are able to build a Hero Academy and change it. The Standard Formation is shaped like a "V" and consists of 1 tank, 2 flanks, and 2 wings.
Using The Standard Formation on a defense team:
The Standard Formation uses a tank in Position 3, Flanks in position 2 and 4, and wings in positions 1 and 5. This is the simplest formation. You want to use you strongest tank in position 3. Positions 2 and 4 are best used for heroes that have fast mana that deal damage to all enemies. Positions 1 and 5 are good for snipers or heroes that revive other heroes.
